We at the IFA try to treat our customers in exactly the same way we like to be treated ourselves. We hate small print, but in order to comply with on-line service provider legislation we are required to set out the Terms and Conditions of the service we offer. Therefore, please find below our ‘small print’.

Before we continue, please note that, due to the age of our members (18 months to 18 years), we only accept payment (the credit card details) form a Parent or Legal Guardian of the person wishing to sign-up with the Academy. Therefore, if you are not the Parent or Legal Guardian i.e. one of our future members, please obtain permission prior to completing the On-line Registration form. Thanks.

IFA General Terms & Conditions and Privacy Statement

The following are the Terms and Conditions applicable to access to and/or use of www.ifasport.com (the ‘Site’) and Registering with IFA. By gaining access to and/or using the Site and completing the On-line Registration form, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws, rules and regulations. The Site is owned and operated by IFA (license number 591838), with our registered office at PO Box 21769, Office No 308, Bank of Baroda Bdg, Trade Centre Road Dubai, U.A.E. and our operations office at PO Box 454905, Office 801, Sheikha Noora Bdg, TECOM Al Barsha, DubaI UAE, and we reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions from time to time by posting the new version on the Site, so please check regularly.

Restrictions on Use

Restrictions on Use The information and materials on the Site are provided for the personal use of customers or potential customers of IFA. It contains information on sessions, events, locations and news relative to the Academy and football generally. It also contains our Registration form so you can reserve ‘your’ (your children’s) place at the Academy. Except as expressly permitted by these Terms and Conditions, none of the Information nor any such content may be reproduced, copied, edited, published, transmitted or downloaded in any way without IFA’s prior written permission nor does IFA grant any express or implied right to you under any of its trademarks, copyrights or other proprietary information.

Privacy and data protection

When registering with IFA we ask for the name, address, credit card details, telephone number and e-mail address of the Parent or Legal Guardian of the person wishing to sign up. We also ask for information concerning any medical conditions with regards the person(s) wishing to train at the Academy so our staff/coaches can be made aware and in case of emergency. We also reserve the right to use your photographs of your child when taking part in IFA activities for marketing and promotional material.

Injury, death or damage to property

The Management will not be liable or responsible for any personal injury, accident or death, or any loss or damage to personal property or vehicles caused to or suffered by any visitors, participants, spectators or invitees attending any of the activities hosted by IFA.
All participants, spectators and invitees will be responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance in relation to the conducted activities.
The Management will not be responsible for providing any security, medical assistance or facilities (including any first aid or ambulance services) or any other requirements in connection with any activity or event.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ACADEMY REGISTRATION

Subject to what is detailed in the following clauses, all those who want to attend the Academy need to register through this website. The Academy shall be governed by the following clauses:

1. IFA FOOTBALL ACADEMY

IFA Sport’s mission is simple – to help everyone get more out of sport. We provide the highest qualified coaches in the country, for ages 3 years to 16 years and beyond into adult leagues. We are the most experienced, successful grass roots sports business in the UAE and our goal is to use what we’ve learned to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of provision of sports services everywhere. We are NOT a franchise with a disregard for quality of service in favour of brand names unlike many competitors

REGISTRATION

Registration shall be completed once the following have been submitted online via ifasport.com: 
1. Completed registration form including the acceptance of the terms and conditions. 
2. Payment of a annual registration fee. 
3. Payment for the relevant term/season. 

Admission will be subject to the availability of a place at the requested training location and timing.
 

CANCELATIONS AND REFUNDS

The registration fee of is not refundable under any cancellation circumstances. 

A bank charge of 5% will be deducted for approved refunds if payments were made by credit card. 

Confirmed registration can be cancelled and the payment minus the registration fee shall be refunded using the original mode of payment if written notice is given to the Organizer at info@ifasport.com at a minimum 7 days prior to the start of the relevant term. 

No refunds for single term enrolments will be given after the start of the term. A balance of the remaining sessions will be refunded only on the ground of a serious medical reason preventing the Player from participating which has been established by providing a medical certificate or based on a proof submitted to the Organizer that the participants is relocating to another country. 

Any cancellation is effective upon the receipt of the written cancellation notice and any and all necessary supporting documentation for injuries or relocations. Refund will be processed in line with the terms and conditions of the payment provider.

GENERAL

IFA Sport reserves the right to place Players in the correct age category or in an alternate age category based on the skills level as determined by the Academy coaches. 

Should the Player wish to relocate from one location to another or an alternate day / timing, we will do our best to accommodate the request but cannot guarantee that there will be availability. 

IFA Sport reserves the right to cancel a course, change the term schedule or location should that be necessary for any reason. 

Makeup sessions will be offered for missed classes. These must be made at alternative days / timings or locations during the same term. Missed sessions will not be rolled over to the next term, nor subsequent term fees adjusted for any sessions missed.

Academy training sessions are done in closed sessions reserved for the Players, their parents/guardians and identified friends and family members. Any video recording or photography during the training session is strictly prohibited. 

If your child has any symptoms of a cold, flu or fever, has a cough, temperature, breathing difficulty, respiratory disease or immunodeficiency, please do not bring them to the session for their safety. 

All classes will be conducted in English.

2. ACCEPTANCE

I as Parent / Guardian of the Player identified herein have read, understood and accept the IFA Sport terms and conditions fully and without limitation. I give my consent / grant permission for the Player to participate in IFA Football Academy and any football/soccer event organized by the Academy. I shall ensure that the Player is physically fit and able to participate in the sporting activities. I understand that participation of the Player in the Academy Activities is done at our own risk. Consequently, I will not hold IFA Sport, its officers, agents, employees, or anyone acting in their behalf, responsible or liable for any damage, loss of property, injury and any other harm whatsoever and howsoever big occurring to the named Player or caused by the Player in the course of such Academy Activities. 

I authorize IFA Sport to transport and to obtain, through a physician of its own choice, any emergency medical care that may become reasonably necessary for the Player in the course of such Academy Activities. 

I, authorise IFA Sport to take, post, record, broadcast, distribute and communicate publicly any images / videos recorded or photographs taken of the Player while participating in the Academy Activities, and to reproduce, in whole or in part, those images / videos or photographs, whether individually or in conjunction with other images / videos, photographs or pictures, incorporate them into brochures, advertisements, or any other promotional and informational materials or via the Internet, without temporal or geographical restrictions and without the right to any compensation or remuneration from IFA Sport.

3. LIABILITY

Parents and Players agree to maintain and exercise courtesy at all times while on Academy’s premises and while interacting with the Academy Staff and other Parents and Students. 

IFA Sport reserves the right not to permit the access and remove any Player who behaves improperly or abusively towards him/herself or other persons, has been involved in a fraudulent activity or otherwise interferes with the normal running of the Academy. No refund will be given should the Player be removed from the Academy for these reasons. 

IFA Sport shall not be liable to the Player and the Player’s Parents / Guardians for any force majeure event or occurrence or any Organizer’s action done based on a legal or regulatory imperative, including the suspension or cancellation of the Academy Activities. 

IFA Sport disclaims any liability in relation to Players’ claims and / or third parties’ claims that may arise as a result of the views and / or statements expressed and / or the use of images and / or personal data that could arise in relation to the Players in the Academy that may appear in the mass media. 

I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and understand the risk of becoming exposed to, or infected by, COVID-19 at the sports facility. On my behalf, and on behalf of my children, I hereby covenant not to sue, hold harmless, and release and discharge IFA Sport, the Organizer, the Facility and the facility management company as well as their successors, employees, agents and representatives, of all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out thereof, or relating thereto, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs, before, during or after participating in events and activities organized by IFA Sport.

4. DATA PROTECTION. PRIVACY POLICY

All information Players provide shall be held in the strictest confidence and will be shared only on a “need-to-know” basis. 

IFA Sport may contact the Player at any time to demand proof of their true age by supplying a photocopy of their official identity card or an equivalent document. In the event that the Player does not provide the aforementioned documentation, IFA Sport reserves the right to refuse providing the Academy services to the Player. 

Subject to the conditions abovementioned, you are informed that your personal data will be collected by IFA Sport (“Collecting Entity”). To this end, you give your consent to Collecting Entity to process your personal data and to manage the services related to your participation in the Academy. 

You have the right to contact the Entity to exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure and opposition, by written request sent by e-mail to the address info@ifasport.com, indicating as subject, “Data Protection”. If necessary, we will ask you to provide us with a copy of your ID card, passport or other valid identity document. 
 

5. MODIFICATION OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

IFA Sport reserve the right to modify or add to these Terms and Conditions of the Academy in part or in whole. Equally, IFA Sport is entitled to resolve any eventuality not foreseen in the Terms and Conditions as it sees fit, on the basis of the spirit and intention of these Terms and Conditions.

6. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms and Conditions are governed by UAE law. 
Any disputes arising out these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the UAE. 

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE HIRE OF FOOTBALL PITCHES
1. Individual and Co-ordinator

Any group or individual acting on behalf of a team wishing to hire a pitch for a game or block booking arrangement must provide details of the name, address, telephone number or e mail address of the individual person or co-ordinator responsible for the members of the team or club and acting on their behalf.

2. Charges and payments

Invoice: Invoice raised for hiring a football pitch at the time of booking will include details of the initial charge, date, time, the venue of the pitch and number of sessions booked. Payments: All bookings must be paid in advance at the time of booking either by debit card or credit card, BACS or by cheque. Cash payments are not accepted. Block bookings: Bookings for 10 or more sessions will qualify your team for auto renewal (this means this slot will be held for you until you tell us you cannot have it- i.e you get first refusal). If we have chased you via email and phone to renew and no answer is forthcoming your slot will be lost. Cancellation Policy :Refunds are provided if: 1. The venue has been double booked 2. The booking is cancelled due to weather conditions. If you have booked a certain date and can no longer make this date if you give more than 48 hours notice then this will be credited against a future booking, otherwise no credit or refund will be given. We hope you understand that once a pitch is booked and paid for this means we cannot offer it to the general public ultimately turning business away. We therefore do ask all customers to honour all bookings once a payment is made

3. Use of pitches and code of conduct

a) The Hirer shall only use the allocated pitch as per the schedule on the invoice. The sub-let of pitches or facilities is not permitted. The pitches shall not be used for any purpose other than football. b) The team should bring their own gear for the game – no footballs, flag posts or any other equipment is supplied. No storage facilities are available at the site. No metal studs to be worn on any pitches. c) Warm ups: At no time should players enter the pitch prior to their scheduled time or interfere with the game that is in progress. d) At the end of your session please ensure that all the litter, empty bottles, cans of drink, fruit peel etc are picked up from and around the hired pitch and on the playing surface. Please place all litter in the litter bins that are provided around the site. Code of conduct Hirers are reminded that the facilities are situated on school/educational campus or positioned in residential area. All individuals must conform to any regulations in force, with respect to the site and comply with any instructions they may received from staff appointed. Please ensure that facilities are used correctly and individuals do not use foul or abusive language whilst playing. Please respect the neighbours and keep noise levels down to a minimum, again, avoiding foul and abusive language on the pitch, staff appointed or locals. Persistent offenders will have their booking cancelled with no refunds given.

4. Health and safety

a) No alcohol shall be brought or consumed in any part of the recreation ground or on pitches. No smoking is allowed on the premises or on pitches. b) In event of an accident or injury the Hirer or co-ordinator should contact the emergency services.

5. Cancellation and refunds

The Hirer may relinquish the right to use the allocated pitch at any time on presentation of written notice at least 3 weeks before commencement of any game. No refund can be made in respect fees or charges once a booked or blocked booked game has taken place at the hired venue.

6. Termination

a) IFA Sport and its affiliates reserve the right to cancel or amend or withdraw the use a pre-booked/hired pitch or venue at any time by giving notice to the Hirer or Co-ordinator of the team. b) IFA Sport will not be liable to the Hirer or the Co-ordinator in respect of expenses, costs or losses incurred directly or indirectly as a result of the termination.

7. Renewal policy

If you wish to renew your booking or block booking allow at least two weeks before it expires. All booking must be paid in advance. We would endeavour to offer the same venue/pitch if possible but this cannot be guaranteed. We would suggest a suitable alternative.

8. Liability

The Hirer or Co-ordinator is responsible for all loss, damage and claims arising out of this agreement. a) IFA Sport accepts no responsibility for any personal injury, accidents, damage to or loss of property or belongings sustained by individuals or members of the club or any other person arising as a consequence of hiring or use of the pitch. b) The Club or Hirer will be responsible for any damage caused to the pitch or facility by their own members or by members of the club against whom they are playing. Details of any damage and the cost will be e mailed to the co-ordinator. You, the co-ordinator will be charged and agree to pay for the damage in full.

9. Changing facilities

Changing facilities are not provided or available at all venues Where these facilities are provided please ensure that it is left in clean and tidy state. You, will liable to pay for any damage caused.

10. Car Parking

Park your cars in designated areas provided. Do not double park or block others. No bikes are permitted on any pitches – please lock your bike. We do not take any responsibility for damage to vehicles or loss and theft of valuables from the vehicles. (not all venues have parking).
By making payment via Banking Automated Clearing Services, (BACS), credit card or debit card you agree to all the terms and conditions stated herein.
